Starting  in Sagres, this is a ride that’s mostly off road along single track hill trails, through cork oak forests and open plains that cross the region. We then ride up through the cattle country of the Alentejo where the terrain’s more open grassland and single track riding before reaching Portugal’s Atlantic coast south of Lisbon. Our finish line is the outside the bustling city of Oporto, our route takes us though the majestic valleys of the Douro and high into the Serra da Estrela mountains, dotted with small hill villages, foaming streams and stunning 360 views over the countryside. 

Throw in a marvellous sunny climate, the hospitality of the locals, great food, superb wine and some stunning, unexpected scenery and you’ve a brilliant adventure ride just a few hours from most major cities in Europe.
